Reference Committee

The purpose of the MOBAC Reference Committee is to improve reference service throughout the System and to make recommendations regarding reference issues to the Administrative Council. The committee serves as a forum for exchange of information among libraries in the system, as a means of sharing information on reference policies and procedures, as a way to share resources, and aids reference staff development by providing workshops, tours, and other opportunities. Additionally, the Reference Committee agrees to fulfill the objectives stated in the CLSA Reference Plan of Service.

Meetings of the MOBAC Reference Committee are held approximately bi-monthly on the 4th Tuesday, at 2:00pm at various locations.
