Boopsie – PLP library app that provides address, hours, phone number and link to website.  Find on Android market place.  Make corrections by contacting:

WorldCat/CalCat – OCLC representative attending Sept. meeting of task force to explain everything.  Will know more next month. Jean will send out meeting information if others would like to attend.

Gale Virtual Library titles – CSUMB unable to access, but public libraries have access. Janie will follow-up on academic library access.

New Business

MOBAC Retreat – Oct. 14, 9-4pm, Scotts Valley Library – purpose to examine the structure of MOBAC.  Jean Chapin, Janie Silveria, will represent Ref committee and Mary Elturk will also attend.

Choose one volunteer for MOBAC rep for the PLP database choice committee – Inga has volunteered

Annual Report to Admin council due Sept. 30 – Jean will upload report to wiki for committee to read

Workshop planning for 2011/12 – Census training, Jean will investigate

Reference Shares/Problem

CSUMB  – Net Library has moved to Ebsco platform

MCFL – Ebsco books available (read only) from website, had to delete records from catalogue and update with new records from Recorded Books

MCFL – Changed Ref policy on assisting patrons with personal information (jobs, shopping, etc.. ).  Mary will post new policy on wiki.

HML – Jean highlights www.consumersearch.com with abstract for all consumer products
