3.  Approve minutes from last meeting

– discussion of last time’s minutes from the meeting.  Mention of adding great comments on workshops we received.

-approved minutes with minor revisions

4.  Admin Council report

-Kristen went to Admin Council on June 10th at the Marina Library.  Good comments on workshop.  Securing passwords questions, email tech chair for Zoom, should we have people sign permission before posting to Youtube.  Deborah said release forms sent to Donna Tran at PLS.  The form is on the MOBAC website.  All presenters should sign the form.  Audience see a sign that is posted to warn them that the workshop is being recorded. If they have an issue they need to talk to presenters.   How secure is ZOOM?  Everyone is come back as highly positive.   It is a public meeting so it should not matter if it is hacked or not or if someone over hears it.  Fine for committee meetings but not for interviews.  It is a HTTP site, so it is a secure site.  They have a white paper for security.  Talked about updating them that is it secure.  Deborah found white paper we will post to the agenda.  KOHA user conference, for $20 when August 3-6th, 2016.

5.  MOBAC YouTube channel

Steve got the old videos up that were on the old server.   He is linking them to the MOBAC site.  The person who records the video will responsible for uploading the video to YouTube.  Talked about finding a tutorial on YouTube to post for those who need training.  Linking Youtube to Professional Development page on MOBAC website.  MOBAC TECH chair is the keeper of the passwords for Youtube MOBAC.  Right now it is Kristen Cardosa.  Talk of letting everyone on the MOBAC Tech committee have it for access.

6.  New business

Should there be a training for ZOOM?  Kristen said she would be willing to do a training if needed.  Documents training heading on MOBAC site.  ZOOM has trainings we can link already made.  Documents in MOBAC website.  ZOOM Tutorials is the heading.  To Be A Presenter and To Be A Participant will be included are the most important, actually the tutorials labeled:  Scheduling a Meeting and Joining A Meeting.
