- Future of MOBAC retreat report:
Eric and Jayanti reported. Interest-Based Bargaining process. Teresa Landers facilitated. Discussed MOBAC values statement, long list of options and solutions. See documents sent to list by Jayanti on 10/27/11. Consensus to maintain WorldCat memberships for 6 additional months. Role of committees, Brown Act not will be discussed in future meetings. - Future Tech & Hands On workshop low registration discussion:
Equipment was used to record Reference Committee Hands-On Workshop earlier on 10/27. 10-15 minutes to set up. Possibly need cables to connect to event facility PA microphones.
Workshop will be rescheduled for January 20th or 27th. Steve will check dates with presenter. Jayanti will encourage Admin Council to discuss importance of library staff and committee participation.
One set of equipment should be stored in the north and one in the south. Discussion of loan procedures. Deborah will add request form to MOBAC Web site.
Draft legal release forms, sign, and procedures approved. Jayanti will have releases and sign reviewed by an attorney. PLP office will file signed releases.
Future Technology workshop will be Grateful Dead archive. Date TBA. - New business: none
